Europe’s ripple effect
of [edutainment]

Every exhibition is a surprise, a frame for curiosity. Immersive, shifting and alive. Visitors don’t just observe; they experience, reflect and share. Each story is designed to spark conversations that move beyond the walls, multiplying curiosity from one person to five and more. ExhibitX believes curiosity deserves a stage. By framing stories, perspectives and ideas within their exhibitions, they create spaces that inspire reflection, dialogue and new ways of seeing. ExhibitX exists to make the world a little more open: less divided, more tolerant and more curious.

Framing [curiosity]

ExhibitX is an exhibition that changes monthly and remains a secret until you step inside. We built the identity for ExhibitX around brackets and made them the concept: a frame that holds space for an idea, an image or a question, with the X inside as the variable (whatever story comes next). The frame stays constant while the content shifts, which is exactly how ExhibitX works as an organisation. That concept became Framing [curiosity] and it runs through every part of the system, from the wordmark to the space.

The design

Beyond the logo, the brackets become a working graphic. Three brackets to a side create the ripple: one perspective echoing outward to five and beyond, giving the mission a visual form. Typography holds two sides together. Scotch Display for a cultural, traditional feel and Neue Haas Grotesk Display for a modern, clean one. The colour palette carries the same contrast: ecru and near-black form the base, bright orange carries the energy and denim and grey blue bring an urban note. Orange and blue light can be used in the space and in imagery to control what the eye finds first: a glow, a silhouette, an edge of something hidden. Imagery is mysterious and offers only a glimpse or tight crop so the audience leans in to fill the gap. The system stays recognisable and consistent across materials and communication while each exhibition rewrites what sits inside the brackets.
